You will normally receive one point per comment you make on the Atlantic Community. Each gold star for an outstanding comment will give you one additional point. The more points you have, the higher your user rank will be: you can go from a Bronze Contributor (10 points) all the way to a Diamond Contributor (1000 points or more).
